Position Summary
This is a full-time faculty position within the Education Department in the Traditional Day Program. In addition to teaching responsibilities, this appointment includes serving as Program Chair, overseeing academic development, and leading key administrative functions. The faculty member will also assist in launching a Secondary Education Program and serve in leadership capacities for Trinity Collegiate High School and state education communication.

Salary and Benefits
● Salary: $65,000 per year
● Benefits: Medical insurance, $15,000 term life policy, and 401K retirement program
● Moving expenses reimbursed up to $3500

Reports to: Vice President for Academic Affairs

Location: Trinity College of Florida – Trinity, Florida

Primary Responsibilities
1. Teach a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester (maximum of 18 credits), including both in-seat and online courses.
2. Serve as Program Chair of the Education Department, providing leadership, advising, and oversight for the department.
3. Act as the On-Site Administrator for Trinity Collegiate High School (TCHS), coordinating instructional activities, academic support, and communication with high school partners.
4. Serve as the Lead Person for all FLDOE communication, ensuring compliance with state standards and managing all correspondence with the Florida Department of Education.
5. Oversee all Dual Enrollment programs as the Lead Dual Enrollment Provider, managing course quality, partnerships, and student success.
6. Collaborate with the Vice President for Academic Affairs to develop a Secondary Education major, beginning with English Education.
7. Serve on college committees as outlined in the Faculty Handbook. Contract begins July 1, 2026

8. Develop discipleship relationships with students and lead a weekly small group.
9. Uphold and promote academic freedom in alignment with the college’s Statement of Faith and faculty policies.

General Requirements
1. Terminal research doctoral degree (ABD considered) from an accredited institution, preferably in Education.

3. Minimum of five years of teaching experience in a classroom.
4. Demonstrated potential for excellence in college-level instruction.
5. Record of promising scholarly achievement.
6. Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
7. Experience with budgeting, planning, and policy review.
8. Strong interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills, with the ability to represent the college to diverse populations.
9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
