The Christmas Story, Unimaginable and Incomparable!

Matthew and Luke record the historical event of the birth of the Lord Jesus! Reading the first two chapters of Luke and then reading the first two chapters of Matthew will record in clear terms this miraculous event of God entering the human race as a baby birthed by a virgin. Simply, absolutely, incredible, and unfathomable! Wayne Grudem writes: “Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man in one person and will be so forever. The virgin birth made possible the uniting of full deity and full humanity in one person. This was the means God used to send his Son into the world as a man.”
This story can never be exhausted!
It speaks unlimited volumes of reality, hope, forgiveness, purpose, joy, and peace. It never runs dry or boring! It is unspeakable, yet invites all to hear and know! It is the supernatural … eternity and divinity in one. There is no tiredness about this event … it lives and pulsates with unmatched love, engagement, and enrichment. It shines with brilliance and unmistakable revelations about God and how He loves human beings He has created. He really cares, plans, and works for the benefit of man. The Christmas Story is unimaginable and Incomparable because:
It is a Supernatural Divine Historical Event … one of its kind.
God Almighty did this once and only once. “…but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many…” Hebrews 9:26,28 NKJV. Jesus, the baby, becoming man, taking our sins on Himself, dying the death on the cross, paying the price of forgiveness with His blood, giving us eternal life as we believe and trust Him. There is nothing like this anywhere. The story never loses its power, freshness, and sacrificial giftedness.
It is a Supernatural Divine Historical Event
…enlightened, enriched, enhanced, and empowered by God, the Holy Spirit. He is the Great Revealer and Applier of these truths to man. He is God’s highlighter and applier. The newness is always there! The words never lose power! The message never loses the ‘Wow’ and ‘Wonder!’ He takes the Divine and makes it ‘Mine!!’ “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit…” 1 Corinthians 2:10 NKJV. The Breath of God is in its reading!
It is a Supernatural Divine Historical Event simply for YOU!
The Christmas Story is for YOU! It is a gift from God to YOU! It is for YOU! God has planned, provided, and executed this promised ‘coming of Jesus’ over the millenniums for YOU! Can you imagine? You have been on His radar before you even existed! Think of it … He wants to spend Eternity with YOU! And the things you will see, know, and come to realize will never be fully exhausted incomprehension. There will be more and more and more … never-ending!
The Christmas Story is unimaginable and incomparable! What our Heavenly Father has designed and orchestrated for man is simply incomprehensible. All eternity will be necessary to begin the journey of understanding that will NEVER end. It is time to sing and praise Him and keep singing, praising, and talking about Him as we enter 2021!
