--> A Vision For Reflecting and Reaching - For His Kingdom - Trinity College

Expectation and Hope

Stephen P. Best, President

The new year is upon us with expectation and hope. Our confidence is built upon the past, reflecting upon the recent Advent season. Our sure faith is in the gospel: the historical finished work of Jesus Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection on our behalf. He reigns today from the throne of heaven, and our joy is in the promise of his return for all who are in Christ.

Likewise, we look back to the vision, faith, and perseverance of Dr. W. T. Watson. Today, Trinity College of Florida is the reality and result of his 50 years of godly and visionary leadership. The past forty-plus years are significantly marked by the leadership, trust, and wisdom of Dr. Mark T. O’Farrell, who served on the Board of Trustees and in the President’s Office for over half of that time.

I stand on the shoulders of these two great servants of God, along with six others who filled the gap between them. I inherited a legacy of God’s faithfulness and favor upon Trinity College of Florida, now halfway through our 91st year of training students for the glory of God and the Kingdom of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The light of God shines bright on the future of Trinity. We are building upon a foundation of godly faithfulness while stepping into a new season of intentional biblical discipleship and leadership development. In our changing culture, the need to train students in a Christian Bible college is greater than in past generations. We must prepare the next generation to make a bold gospel impact through ministry and the marketplace, reaching the lost for His Kingdom.

Please be encouraged as you read of God’s work at Trinity. I invite you to reaffirm your participation in prayer and generosity for our work of equipping servant leaders for life and career opportunities. Advocate for us and refer prospective students to our admissions office. We depend upon God to provide through his people, like you.

For His Kingdom,

Stephen P. Best, College President
