Christopher Gates, Ph.D.

President, Dr. Christopher Gates 

Dr. Gates has been teaching at TCF since 2016 and currently serves as Assistant Professor of Bible and Theology and is the Associate Dean of the Quest degree completion program. He earned his PhD from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Biblical Studies and a minor concentration in Theology. His areas of specialization are Hermeneutics and Gospel Studies. Dr. Gates is the lead pastor of Mosaic Church in New Port Richey and he and his wife, Angela, reside in downtown NPR with their two sons, Simon and Deacon. We are proud to note that Dr. Gates is an alumni of Trinity College of Florida by way of our Quest degree completion program.

Dr. Gates is now serving as the 10th President of Trinity College of Florida, and is looking forward to the promising future God has for the college.
