Assistant Professor of General Studies
Position Summary
This is a full-time faculty position within the General Studies Department in the Traditional Day Program.
Salary and Benefits
● Salary: Commensurate with Experience
● Benefits: Medical insurance, $15,000 term life policy, and 401K retirement program
● Moving expenses reimbursed up to $3500
Reports to: President
Location: Trinity College of Florida – Trinity, Florida
Remote: No
Primary Responsibilities
- Teach a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester (maximum of 18 credits), including both in-seat and online courses.
- Serve as Program Chair of the General Department, providing leadership, advising, and oversight for the department.
- Serve on college committees as outlined in the Faculty Handbook. Contract begins July 1, 2026
- Develop discipleship relationships with students and lead a weekly small group.
- Uphold and promote academic freedom in alignment with the college’s Statement of Faith and faculty policies.
General Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 18 credit hours in english.

- Demonstrated potential for excellence in college-level instruction.
- Record of promising scholarly achievement.
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
- Experience with budgeting, planning, and policy review.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills, with the ability to represent the college to diverse populations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
