Honors Program Civil Rights Tour

October 5-8, 2022

Fall Honors Preview Trip

Join us on this trip as we walk where many of these civil rights leaders walked. From Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to Rosa Parks to Fredrick Douglas, each stood for something bigger than themselves to make a difference for the future people of this nation. Christians were divided on the issue of race for many years, and the church is still facing the repercussions of that. Let’s discuss how racism in the church can finally become a thing of the past.

  • Wednesday, Oct 5 2:30pm – travel to Alabama
  • Thursday Oct 6 – Legacy Museum, Memorial for Peace and Justice, Tuskegee National Park, and Civil Rights Memorial
  • Friday Oct 7 – Walk across the bridge to Selma and Selma Interpretive Center, travel to Atlanta, and Stone Mountain
  • Saturday Oct 8 – Ebenezer Baptist Church and Civil Rights Museum, and travel home
